「第40回土門拳賞」を受賞しました。The 40th Ken Domon Award!

写真集『ノースウッズ 生命を与える大地』（クレヴィス）が、「第40回土門拳賞」を受賞しました。

初の写真集でしたが、これまでの撮影20年の全てを注いだ集大成でした。諦めないでよかった…とは言えない過去がありますが、見通しの悪い森を進んだ先に、このような眺めのいい場所が待ち受けていたとは、にわかに信じられない気持ちです。

これまで応援してくださった方々の思いひとつひとつが積み重なって届いた賞だと感じています。本当にありがとうございます。そして、これからもどうぞよろしくお願い申し上げます。

受賞記念作品展がニコンプラザ東京（4/27-5/10）・大阪（5/27-6/9）、山形県酒田市の土門拳記念館（10/6-12/22）と続きます。在廊も予定していますので、受賞の喜びを分かちあえれば幸いです。

その前に「受賞のことば」でも触れた喫茶店・平均律での写真展も4/1にスタートします。こちらもどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

I'm pleased to announce this great news!

“The Northwoods; the Land that Gives Life”, which is my first photo book and a compilation of my 20 years’ work, won the 40th Ken Domon Award. It is the one of the most prestigious award for photographer in Japan, named after the legendary photographer Ken Domon.
